We have a 5 month old Bouvier that we must part with by the end of March as I return to work/office. He is a wonderful loving dog that has been a delight to have in our family since October. Unfortunately I will be returning to the office April 3rd so we've made the decision to find Max a new home. He is a puppy and loves to play and cuddle. He is bindle colored and a pure bred that we seared for months before we made the decision to purchase from a fantastic breeder in Alaska and move to Los Angeles. Bouviers are wonderful with kids and other dogs. He's been socialized with other dogs and we've never had any issues or any kind with other pets
Bouvier Des Flandres Temperament
The Bouvier des Flandres is a breed of dog known for its loyalty, intelligence, and protective nature. They were originally bred for herding, guarding, and cart-pulling in Belgium.
In terms of temperament, Bouviers are known to be calm, confident, and courageous. They are protective of their families and can be wary of strangers, making them excellent watchdogs. However, proper socialization from a young age can help them become more accepting of new people and situations.
Bouviers are also known for their intelligence and trainability, but they can be stubborn at times. They require firm, consistent training and positive reinforcement methods.
Overall, Bouviers make excellent family pets for those who are willing to put in the time and effort to properly train and socialize them. They are affectionate and loyal to their families and can adapt to various living situations, including apartments or homes with large yards.
